When parents want to enroll their children in a private Christian school instead of public school, they often truly want kids to obtain an education grounded in moral values. And that’s just what we offer children, parents, and our community at Woodin Valley Christian School in Bothell, WA.
Because our affordable, non-profit private Christian School uses the three-story Education building facilities of a local Baptist church, we can offer much lower tuition and fees than other K-12 private schools throughout the Seattle, WA, northeastern suburbs. Behind the scenes, Woodin Valley Christian School uses School Central to help keep admissions, billing, attendance, and family communication organized, so our staff can stay focused on students, families, and ministry.
Plus, Woodin Valley primarily uses Abeka, a Biblically-based curriculum which includes Scripture memory passages and references to God and Jesus Christ—all designed to help students develop moral character, a sense of accountability, and wisdom in their lives. Standards of personal conduct, school policies, and curriculum continue to build each student’s perception of responsibility and integrity.
As Americans and Christians, we also believe it is important to emphasize the greatness of America’s true heritage and for students to be taught the Biblical doctrines of respect for authority, self–discipline, obedience to the law, and love for God and country.

Honoring Christ has been our priority since the school began in 2001 as a ministry of Woodin Valley Christian Church under the guidance of Pastor Rich Farinella. Today, students receive direction and support from our Spiritual Life Director, Bro. AJ Lutrick. And our small teacher-student classroom ratios allow teachers to provide thorough instruction and one-on-one attention to each K-12th grade student.
In the past 20+ years, many Woodin Valley graduates have worked in church and global ministries or attended Bible colleges. Others have professional jobs and faithfully attend church and serve their communities, fulfilling God’s will for their lives.
